"Cataclysm" is a musical exploration of the moral ambiguity of war. On the front lines, everyone is a hero and everyone is a villain. This ambiguity is communicated with a blend of Gustov Holst-inspired harmonies and atypical combinations of instruments.

This EP introduces “Lumedar,” my science fiction worldbuilding project to compliment my fantasy “World of Aurelia.” Depicted in this music is a war between two fictional nations in this “Lumedar” world: the fascist “Lumedarian Union,” and the peace-loving “Thensian Confederacy.” This suite’s use of unusual harmonies and atypical instrument combinations serves as a commentary on the moral ambiguities of war.
